Today I’m making homemade tomato sauce to have with the homemade meatballs I’ll be making later. The sauce is slow-cooking right now. Yum.
The whole process would likely have been much easier if our can opener wasn’t rusted solid.
Of course all this is only to say that I have managed successfully to come up with every possible reason not to write my art history paper this weekend. Homemade tomato sauce is only the tip of the iceberg, or in my case, only one jagged tooth on the can lid.
